IELTS Speaking Tasks
The examiner will ask the participant simple questions about everyday topics e.g. yourself, your home town
Participants are given a cue card with bullet points, then ask to prepare a short talk based on the given topic.
The examiner and participant take part in a conversation about more complex topics e.g. technology, travel
The IELTS Speaking section is made up of three different tasks. These are the same for the General Training and Academic exams, you can use the same preparation material for either exam.
